Cowboys and Aliens – film that is a science fiction and deals with the topic of aliens, released its full theatrical trailer yesterday. This film is about a mysterious person whose fate has chosen him to fight with unseen alien forces.
The film stars Daniel Craig, Olivia Wilde, and Harrison Ford in lead roles. The plot of the movie is quite simple, but the producers have inserted many special effects that make the film a must watch.
Jake Lonergan awakes in Arizona in 1873, to find himself devoid of any memories about his past life and a mysterious manacle around his wrists. Upon entering the town of absolution, he learns that he is an infamous criminal, who is most wanted by many people including the iron fist ruler of the town Colonel Woodrow Dolarhyde.
So far, it’s good. This real action comes when unknown forces attack this town laying down anyone who crosses their paths. Now that he town faces a greater danger, Jake realizes that the key to defeating these forces lies in his manacles and he must work in accordance with Colonel Woodrow and the townspeople together to defeat these forces.
The film stars Daniel Craig in the lead role of Jake, and Harrison Ford in the role of Woodrow Dolarhyde. The screenplay is adapted from the comic book with the same title and is produced by Steven Spielberg, Ron Howards, Brian Grazer, Scott Mitchell Rosenberg – the author of the original comic book, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.
The film has big names of distributors attached with it like Universal Studios, DreamWorks, Touchstone Pictures and Paramount Pictures. The film that has been in the making process since 2001 faced a lot of hitches and changes in its cast including writers and actors. But eventually went ahead to release its first promo in November 2010.
The shooting of the film began in June 2010 and there was no stopping for the film. The marketing team did a great job and timed the release of the promos perfectly so as to maintain the curiosity and keep the attention of the people intact. Director of the film John Favreau released the second trailer on twitter and this is the third trailer.
We are waiting for the movie to be released that is estimated to release in July this year.
